Holy Crap. I can't beleive it's almost a month since I last posted. Since the last post I have finaled 1 game, lost an additional 5 pounds, went to the beach with my family, celebrated my 32nd birthday, saw Pirates of the Carribean 3, found out some super sweet super secret information at my work, started looking for a new place to live, started packing, finished Gears of War co-op, bought a new 42" Westinghouse tv etc.....

Man I have done a lot in the last month.

Liam is getting bigger by the day. I swear that kid gets planted in manure every night and grows like a weed. Emma had her first really big fall last night. She was doing her little girl walk up the stairs, turned around and fell head first on to the concrete. Needless to say Ivone and I freaked. She started wailing, and last night when we put her to bed finally, she had a big ole goosebump. She seems fine though. Uncle Dale took her for a wagon ride and everything was all better.

Hopefully it won't be another month till i post, but if it is, I will be moved back into the city. No more crazy ass commuting from Abbotsford. So excited!

So I have decided to end the war. That's right, the war of me being a fatty. I have recently started a new diet, that really sucks monkey balls. I basically starve myself for 3 days, then eat limited amounts for the remaining 4.

So first progress report.

I have been on this for a week.... and have lost 10 pounds.

I am pretty happy with that. I haven't lost any weight in I don't know how many years so i feel good about it.

More next week.

Greetings to those out there who read this.

As I said in my last post, hopefully my next post I will have some pictures of my baby boy.

And I didn't lie.

My son, Liam Michael Herd, was finally born on Monday April 9th at 8:04pm. He weighed in at a hefty 10 pounds, and is 26.5 inches long. He looks to be about the size of a 2 or 3 month old.

He is so big, the back of his neck looks like a pack of hot dogs :)

I have more pictures posted on my Facebook. Look me up there.

Take care,

The Herd Squad

Sad day friends.

Last night my sister had to put her cat Puddy to sleep. He had a bit of a heart murmur that ended up causing a blood clot in his back end, basically paralyzing his rear legs. They could have fixed it surgery wise, but the doctor said that it would probably happen again. Puddy was in a lot of pain, so as hard as it was, my sister made the choice. Now my sister had Puddy for 12 years, and they went through a lot together. I feel bad for her right now.

He was a fat little bastard, who liked to bite. He was a pretty cool cat.

Peace out Puddy. Like Niki says, "you are an angel cat now".

Have fun with Ty, Shane, and Riggy.

And don't be biting Grampa Herd.
